About Us
Laurie Grow – Program Director, Registered Instructor
Laurie came to Leg Up for Kids Therapeutic Riding with a very strong background in both therapeutic and able-bodied riding instruction. She graduated from St. Andrews College in North Carolina with a B.A. in Therapeutic Horsemanship.
During her educational quest, Laurie obtained her Registered Instructor Certification. She began her riding career starting out western, and now rides hunter-jumper and dressage.
Outside of Leg Up for Kids Therapeutic Riding, Laurie can be found rowing, running, swimming, and hiking. She finds inspiration in the changes she observes in her riders.
